The Kenya Grand Tour is our most complete itinerary, linking four of the country's signature landscapes into a single eight-day journey: Nairobi's own national park, the Maasai Mara, the Rift Valley lakes, and Amboseli beneath Kilimanjaro. It's built for travelers who want real depth at each stop rather than a rushed circuit.
Pacing is deliberately generous, with two full days at both the Mara and Amboseli, and shorter stops at Nairobi and Nakuru to keep road time reasonable.
- Day 1: Morning game drive in Nairobi National Park, the only park bordering a capital city, then afternoon transfer toward the Rift Valley.
- Day 2: Morning at Lake Nakuru National Park tracking rhino and birdlife, then drive on to the Maasai Mara.
- Day 3: Full day in the Maasai Mara, tracking the Big Five across the reserve's open plains.
- Day 4: Second full day in the Mara, with time held at known wildlife concentrations and, in season, migration crossing points.
- Day 5: Fly or drive from the Mara to Amboseli National Park. Afternoon game drive with Kilimanjaro views permitting.
- Day 6: Full day in Amboseli, focused on its elephant herds and swamp-edge wildlife.
- Day 7: Second morning game drive in Amboseli, then transfer back toward Nairobi.
- Day 8: Final morning at leisure in Nairobi before your onward flight.
